Japanese Boxing Star Defends Title on October 15th
Nakatani (27-0, 20 KOs) is set to defend his WBC bantamweight title against Thailand's Petch Sor Chitpattana.
WBC bantamweight champion Junto Nakatani of Japan will defend his title against Petch Sor Chitpattana of Thailand on October 15th.
The bout will be part of a seven-world title fight card that will take place at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
Nakatani, 27, won the WBC bantamweight title in June 2022 with a sixth-round TKO victory over Alexandro Santiago.
He successfully defended his title for the first time in July 2022 with a first-round knockout of Vincent Astrolabio.
Chitpattana, 28, is a former WBC bantamweight title challenger.
He has a record of 44-2 with 36 knockouts.
The October 15th card will also feature the following world title fights:

The card is being promoted by Teiken Promotions and will be televised live on DAZN.
